Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By paying your 30% deposit, the client agrees to the Terms and Conditions stated below.

 

Quotes:

  1. The quote provided contains all included goods and services provided by Elly & Elm Events and is the final price.

  2. Quotes are valid for fourteen (14) days from issue.


Payments:

  1. Payment is to be made by cash or direct deposit only. Please ensure that when using direct deposit, your job number is entered in the reference field.

  2. The client will be charged interest at the rate of 8% every month on any unpaid monies. We reserve the right to charge the client any fees associated with the retrieval of unpaid monies.


Deposits & Confirmation:

  1. A non refundable deposit of 30% of the total fee is required to secure your booking with Elly & Elm Events.

  2. Payment is to be made by cash or direct deposit only. Please ensure that when using direct deposit, your Invoice Number is entered in the reference field.

  3. Deposits are strictly non refundable.

  4. Until this deposit has been received we reserve the right to alter supplied pricing and / or release the goods or services to another client.

  5. We cannot reserve a date of service until a deposit has been received.

  6. Cancellation of your order after this time will result in a forfeit of the deposit.

 

Bond:

  1. A refundable bond of $100 or 50% of the total hire fee (whichever is greater) is required when paying your deposit.

  2. The bond will be refunded in full to the client within fourteen (14) days following the event and if there is no damage or missing items.

  3. Refunds will be paid via direct deposit to the clients nominated Bank account once supplied to Elly & Elm Events.

  4. Goods must be returned in the same condition that they were hired.

  5. In the event of lost or damaged items, the cost to replace or clean these items will be deducted from your bond.

  6. Any replacement, repair or cleaning costs in excess of the damages bond will be invoiced separately, with payment required within a week of invoice.

 

Final Payments:

  1. The outstanding balance is required one (1) month prior to the event. An invoice will be sent at least two (2) months prior to the event when possible.

  2. Payment is to be made by cash or direct deposit only. Please ensure that when using direct deposit, your Invoice Number (found on the top right of your quote) is entered in the reference field.

  3. The client will be charged interest at the rate of 8% every month on any unpaid monies. We reserve the right to charge the client any fees associated with the retrieval of unpaid monies.

  4. The deadline for any changes to the order is one (1) month prior to the event. After this, no items can be removed or reduced. You may be able to add extra items at this point depending on their availability and acceptance of any requested changes are at Elly & Elm Event’s discretion.


 

Cancellations & Refunds:

  1. Clients are permitted to cancel their booking with Elly & Elm Events up to one (1) month prior to their event date, but will waive the 30% deposit paid.

  2. Any cancellations after this one (1) month time frame forfeits all monies paid.

  3. Elly & Elm Events will not be held accountable for weather changes, therefore any change in weather that may affect the event will be subject to the above policy.

  4. Refunds will be paid when cancellations have occurred prior to the one (1) month deadline.

  5. Refunds will be paid via direct deposit to the clients nominated Bank account once supplied to Elly & Elm Events.

  6. Elly & Elm Events will refund money owing due to cancellation or refund within fourteen (14) days of written request.


 

Wedding Coordination:

  1. Elly & Elm Events will source two (2) quotes per supplier and will communicate these with the client via email, once all compiled.

  2. It is the client's responsibility to communicate with Elly & Elm Events which supplier they would like to secure within 2 weeks of receiving the email.

  3. All communication between supplier and client will be through Elly & Elm Events, unless otherwise stipulated by Elly & Elm Events.

  4. The client is responsible for paying all monies owed to suppliers directly from the supplier invoices, unless negotiated with Elly & Elm Events.

  5. On the day coordination and communication will be through Elly & Elm Events.

  6. Any bond that has been generated on a order from a supplier is payable by the client and any damages to suppliers goods will be deducted from said bond.

 

Hire:

  1. All items unless otherwise stipulated are used by the client on a hire-only basis and remain the property of Elly & Elm Events and our suppliers.

  2. Unless otherwise stipulated, the hire period is for one (1) calendar day and late return will incur additional costs.

  3. Where Elly & Elm Events are collecting items, the client is responsible for all items to be easily locatable. We reserve the right to treat any item not easily locatable as lost and the client will be charged accordingly.

  4. A delivery fee will apply and this will be included in the quotation form. No pickup of items is available, unless previously organised by Elly & Elm Events.

  5. The collection/return of items will be the day directly after the event.

  6. We reserve the right to charge for all goods and services rendered to the client regardless of whether they are listed on the estimate supplied. As stylists, the client permits us to undertake all reasonable, additional work within reason

 

Flora:

Elly & Elm Events will endeavour, when required, to source floral arrangements as specified in the proposal, however due to the fragile nature of flora we can not guarantee supply. Where specified flora cannot be attained, we will select an alternative in keeping with the overall design.  

 

Problems Before & During Event:

  1. In the event of unforeseen events occurring, Elly & Elm Events reserves the right to modify set arrangements at their own discretion.

  2. All costs involved to cover these changes will be authorised by a nominated person on the client's behalf.

  3. If said nominated person/s are not the client will take full responsibility of any charges involved due to the changes that have occurred.

 

Pack Down:

  1. All pack down must be negotiated with Elly & Elm Events and is not included in any of the packages.

  2. Where pack down has been negotiated, dismantle days are negotiated by Elly & Elm Events with the venue.

  3. Out of Hours Dismantle (between the hours of 10pm and 8am) is charged at $100.00 per hour.

 

Multiple Bookings:

  1. Elly & Elm Events reserves the right to book multiple services on the same day.

  2. Where multiple services are booked on the same day, Elly & Elm Events reserves the right to allocate staff where required even if the staffing allocation differs to what is stated in the client's quote.

 

Damaged & Missing Goods:

  1. In the event of lost items or any damage to items, the cost to replace these items will be deducted from your bond. This will be determined by us and communicated to you upon return of the remainder of your bond.

  2. The client is also responsible for any damage, loss or expense caused by the items hired to property or person whether suffered by client or third party.

 

Travel:

  1. The first 20km of travel is included in all of Elly & Elm Events packages.

  2. Every additional kilometre will be charged at $0.77/km. This includes the included venue visit and event day travel and pack down (if negotiated).

  3. Travel surcharges have been applied to this agreement are non refundable. If a client wishes to organise additional venue visits, this can be done at an additional charge, with travel being charged as above.

 

Use of Photos/Video:

  1. All images, designs and concepts created by Elly & Elm Events are protected by copyright and remain our property. These are not to be used, replicated, published or distributed without our express consent.

  2. The client agrees to allow Elly & Elm Events the right to publish any photos/videos taken by Elly & Elm Events or other suppliers to their website and any other social media sites including, but not limited to Facebook and Instagram.

 

Liability

In case of any injury, loss or damage caused by any items hired within the hire period, Elly & Elm Events will not be held liable. The Client indemnifies Elly & Elm Events and holds Elly & Elm Events harmless from all claims, actions, proceedings, costs, damages, and liability including attorney fees and court costs arising out of, in connection with, or resulting from the services provided by, or the direct or indirect use of Elly & Elm Events.
